We're not a franchise, and most of our customers find us through a neighbor.
Why are we so into bugs?
The bugs are fascinating, but the home is where our real passion is. We believe that the structures we spend time in are an important part of our families, our neighborhoods, and the town that we call home. For most people, bugs are unwelcome guests in the home, and that's where we can help out.
Dan Hekman started Pest Tech in 2015, because the pest control industry was missing a vital mix of real chemical knowledge, devoted customer service, and pricing that made sense. As Pest Tech continues to grow, he and the rest of the team are incredibly thankful for the people who trust their homes to us.

How do we work?
We'd usually rather start with an inspection and explain what we find than quote a price over the phone. We've found that, even if folks aren't going to treat something themselves, they like to be educated on what's happening and why.
Whenever we can, we address the reason bugs are getting in, like a gap under a door or a damp crawl space, instead of just treating the bugs. And we'll tell you when something isn't urgent, or if there are small changes that can have big impacts.
